Dr. Marcy Keown is a board certified pediatric dentist originally from Orlando, Floirida. Her mission is to build a community valuing prevention, early detection and treatment of dental disease and to keep current on the latest advances in dentistry for children.
Dr. Amanda Newcity grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. She graduated from the University of South Florida in 2008 with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. After undergraduate school, she pursued an education in dentistry and graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2012.
Kimberly graduated Tallahassee Community College in 2010 earning her dental hygiene degree. She has experience in orthodontics, pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. When she is not working, she is taking care of her daughter and husband. She also enjoys cooking, running and just being in the Florida sunshine!
Valerie has been in dentistry since 1999. She has been involved in both orthodontics and general dentistry. She likes hanging out with her son, especially going to Disney World. When she does get some free time of her own, she likes running and doing outdoors stuff.
Yolanda has been a dental assistant for three years. She has worked in both cosmetic dentistry and pediatrics. Yolanda is also fluent in Spanish, an asset very helpful for some of our patients. Her and her husband love children, animals and spending time with their family.
Marie has been working with children for 8 years (5 years as a pediatric dental assistant). Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is taking children who are apprehensive about the dentist and making the experience an enjoyable one. During Marie's spare time, she enjoys going on mini vacations with her family.
Rachel has been a pediatric dental assistant for 15 years. Like all of our assistants, she is highly skilled at working with children with high anxieties. Parents are often surprised at what she is able to accomplish with their young child. She has become a big part of our team , even though she is a Florida State football fan (we have learned to work around that). During her free time, she likes hanging out with her husband and boys doing outdoor activities.
Cindy wins the office award for having the most dental assisting experience. In her 17 year career she has assisted pediatric dentist and orthodontist. Her experience with working with special needs children is phenomenal. She may be the newest addition to Dr. White’s dental assisting team, but as you can see, she is not inexperienced. You may have seen her and her husband on the weekends at various baseball fields watching her son play baseball.
